Presentation

Known as «Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo», who during and after the military regime were daily demonstrating there about the fate of their missing children and relatives. Certainly during the military regime they were a very courageous group, inspiring similar movements elsewhere in the world.
Jarig Bakker, 22 Dec 2001

The Madres de la Plaza de Mayo movement is a women's Argentine movement that aims at finding our what happened to the people that disappeared during the years of military dictatorship in the country and at sending the people responsible for the disappearings to the justice.

About the flag

The flag is marine blue with a white cloth folded and tied in order to cover the head. There is a white border all around the flag. There are words in white characters too over the marine blue background. But I cannot read it in the photo, that’s because I cannot draw it. I have check the official website at mothers.org but there was no flags showed in it.
