Coat of arms of Čajniče (municipal website)

The coat of arms of Čajniče was designed by Danko Buljug. The mountain hut represents Orijent Hotel, which has been standing above the town for thirty years and is a symbol of the architecture in this area. The medieval fortress represents the long history and tradition of Čajniče population and its strategic position that made it one of the oldest towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the past, Čajniče used another coat of arms (image).
