Description of the flag

Lier (French, Lierre) is located in the arrondissement of Mechelen.

The flag is made of seven horizontal white-red stripes. The coat of arms is " Argent three chevrons Gules".

The flag was adopted by Municipal decision 22 February 1988, confirmed by Ministerial decision 13 December 1988.
