Description of the flag

Hoegaarden (6,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Leuven.

The flag is horizontally divided blue-yellow-blue. Proportions are 2:3. The colors of the flag are derived from the municipal coat of arms.

The flag was adopted on 2 September 1985.
