Description of the flag

Haaltert (17,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Aalst.

The flag is: Argent, three (2:1) lions rampant Gules, armed and tongued Azure. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 1 July 1986.
