Description of the flag

Sint-Niklaas (68,000 inhabitants) is the capital city of the arrondissement of Sint-Niklaas.

The flag is: Party per pale, Azure and Or, in the pale Azure, a turnip Or and Gules. Proportions are 2:3.

The turnip is the Waasland beet.

The flag was adopted on 9 December 1980.
