Description of the flag

Spire-Helkijn (2,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Kortrijk.

The flag is red with a white cross. Proportions are 2:3. The municipal coat of arms has a shield with two supporting leopards, each holding a flag, the one on the right being the present communal flag.

The flag was adopted on 25 June 1985.
