In Benin, the Upper Authority on Radio, Television and Communication (blatantly modelled on the equivalent French body) prescribed strict and detailed rules for the election campaigns. Complete texts (in French) of the Authority decisions are available online. They are extremely boring and redundant, and contain the same article about the national colours:

[Candidates and their representatives appearing on TV during election campaign programs] shall not use either the flag of Benin or the combination of the three colours: green, yellow, red.
