The flag is dark blue with a red saltire bordered with white. On a white
rectangle on the center is the municipal coat of arms, which is white
with a red Latin cross with a blue scroll twisted around it inscribed "Esse Agnus Dei."
On a blue wavy base is a white fish. The shield is flanked by two smoking
chimneys in lieu of supporters. The scroll is inscribed with the name
of the municipality and the date 3 April 1848.
