About the Flag of Conceição das Pedras

The flag is forest green with the coat of arms on the center. The coat of arms shows wood-covered rocks [the name means Conception--i.e.,Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception-- of the rocks], an ear of corn (maize), and a sprig of coffee. The date on the scroll, 1º DE MARÇO DE 1963, is the date Conceição das Pedras attained independent municipal status.
