About the Flag of Montes Claros

According to this website, the flag of Montes Claros was approved by decree no. 564 of 18 November 1981. The flag is apparently a pun on the name, which means clear or light-colored mountains. It is divided horizontally sky blue over light green, with a golden yellow disk set toward the hoist and two white mountains superimposed.
