The flag shows a wide white Scandinavian-type cross separating a green fly and a yellow hoist with the town emblem in the intersection. This emblem shows a light blue eight-toothed cogwheel between a branch of wheat and soy (doesn't look like it to me!) above a red stylized scroll reading "1951 SÃO MIGUEL DO IGUAÇU 1961."
