Is this canting - vigny?

Probably yes. "La vigne" being "the vine" (the plant) as well as "the vinyard" (the crop). I guess Lavigny produces that kind of original white wine scorned by professional oenologists but highly valuable with local food. And the vinyards add to the beauty of the landscape, because they cover the steep slopes of the Lake Geneva shore.
