Gules an Ibex rampant Argent on Coupeaux of the same.
Željko Heimer, 16 May 2001
The first version of the blazon of Steinmaur featured an ibex (in German "Steinbock") on a white wall (in German "Mauer") which made the flag completely canting. The wall was replaced by the white coupeaux in 1726 so the blazon is less canting now.
