"En 1973 se adoptó la bandera de tres franjas horizontales, con los siguientes colores:
Una primera franja de color verde.
Una segunda franja de color blanco.
Y la franja inferior de color verde.
En la franja del centro está el escudo del municipio.
Estos colores son la confirmación de la fertilidad de sus campos, y la esperanza de toda su gente en un mejor manana. Igualmente de la paz que todos anhelan."
