En el color rojo, sinónimo de la riqueza cafetera de la región.
El blanco, alusivo a la paz, gran esperanza de su gente.
Con el color verde se quiere mostrar la magnificencia de sus campos y la fertilidad de sus tierras en cualquier época en que se cosechan sus frutos.
