"Estandarte de forma rectangular, con tres franjas horizontales de igual tamano con los siguientes colores:
Azul: es el agua de los termales que son atractivo turístico del municipio.
El Blanco, la pureza, remanso de paz.
El Verde, representa las praderas, la naturaleza que rodea esta patria chica.
Tiene nueve estrellas, que forman un semicírculo en todas las tres franjas de la bandera, corresponde al número de las veredas del municipio."
