Ďáblice flag

[Flag of Dablice] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 10 May 2001, after image by Petr Exner

Is any significance to be read into the fact that the flag and arms of Dablice show a Christian cross over a Star of David, which is traditionally a Jewish symbol. I ask this because the arms and flag of Ceske Tresov show a medieval caricature of a Jew.
Ron Lahav, 10 Nov 2003

Cross above star is no symbol of victory over Jews or something. It is a symbol of a Knigtly Order of Bohemian origin. Dablice is a Part of Prague (district Prague 8 I think).
Mr. Lahav mentioned Ceske Tresov - he meat Česka Trebova, I suppose.  Well, Trebova´s Arms are a little mysterious. It really shows a black rooster with Jewish head (a bearded head with yellow hat). Official blason from 1980 gives only "a rooster with a bearded man´s head in a hat with a ball on the top of it." Similar head has a certain Austrian (Styrian) town in its arms. It is called  - Judenburg.
So was it a Hebrew or not. In the second case it it quite obvious. But I disagree  that  Ceska Trebova Coat of Arms  is a caricature; the real meaning of it is alerady lost in past.
Dablice (or rather Ďáblice) means She-Devil, in this case it is in Plural. This word is not necesary a sign of hell in our language. It could be (in certain specific circumstances)  also very passioned women...

This is probably a pure coincidence but the French word "diabless" seems to be related with "Dablice".
