Těšany municipality flag

A beautiful, but perhaps a bit too busy flag at this website of the vilage of Těšany in Brno-venkov, South Moravian region, Czechia. The book refers to the play "Marysa", a village drama, written by Alois and Vilem Mrstik, and first performed in 1894. The horse-iron symbolizes the famous Těšany smithy and the Těšany horses. The grapes are quite usual for that particular region. The flag can be found in Petr Exner's Vexilologický Lexikon prapory obcí ČR (2001), where we learn that it was adopted 27 Jun 2001.
