Stonava flag

[Stonava flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 21 May 2001

Stonava is in Karvina okres in NE Czechia, nearly on the Polish border.
Question: what's the name of the animal on the Coat of Arms - a leagle?
Jarig Bakker, 15 Feb 2001

It's actually a griffin, isn't it?
André Coutanche, 15 Feb 2001.

The correct flag of the Czech municipality of Stonava (approved in 1994) is banner-of-arms: green with a yellow griffin holding a small shield with black S. The Coat of Arms presented in Stonava www page and in FOTW is correct, but the black-green-yellow tricolore under the Coat of Arms is not flag but mere decoration.
