Janová flag

[Janova flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 16 Apr 2001

This municipality is in eastern Czechya. Flag and CoA are at this website. I know the flower as 'bell-flower', but that sounds so unscientific.
Jarig Bakker, 14 May 2000.

At first sight, the flower looks like a campanula, but campanulas do have alternate leaves. The flower is therefore more likely a gentiana, with opposite leaves. Some strong brandy to be found in the area?
Ivan Sache, 14 May 2000.
