Description

Originally founded in 1994 as GAJB (Grün-Alternatives Jugendbündnis, Green-Alternative Youth Association) it renamed itself to Grüne Jugend in April 2000. The logo of the Grüne Jugend is a grim-looking hedgehog —the hedgehog was and is a symbol of the Greens, although the sunflower is more common— that you can see at their website. The flag shows the hedgehog, outlined in white, on a green background; under the hedgehog the inscription "Grüne Jugend". Sources:
