The flags ratio is 3:5. It is a blue over white bicolour with the coat
of arms in the centre of the flag.
Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (=yellow) shield are two blue and white chequered bendy
lines. The coat of arms was granted in 1936.
Meaning:
The shield shows the coat of arms of the lords of Horhusen. They were
connected with city and castle from 11th to 16th century.
