The Gemeinde Langenpreising adopted arms on 21st December 1962, blazon: Per pale, dexter per fess embattled Gules and Argent, sinister Azure six fleurs-de-lis 2, 2 and 2 Or. On 6th July 1999 a flag of blue-white-red was adopted. It shows the arms. Langenpreising was the last of the municipalities in the Landkreis Erding that officially adopted a flag; this was done under the new legal scheme, i.e. there was no need of an approval by the Government of Upper Bavaria as was necessary before.
