The Gemeinde Pastetten adopted arms on 17th October 1983, blazon: Per fess Or, a moor's head proper crowned Gules, and Gules, a wall embattled Argent. At the same time a flag was adopted. It is white-red and shows the arms. Interestingly it is swallowtailed.
