Calbe (Saale) is in Schönebeck county. It is not to be confused with Kalbe (Milde) which is also in Saxony-Anhalt, but in Salzwedel county. The arms in my image are based on the arms at the city website. The calf (German Kalb) on the coat-of-arms is canting. Source: Günther 1996b.

Saale is a river, one of the main tributaries of the Elbe. It starts in Upper Franconia and goes to the Elbe north of Magdeburg. There is another river with the same name in Lower Franconia which is usually called Fränkische Saale for distinction.
