Municipality of Brackel
Municipality of Brackel (Samtgemeinde* Hanstedt / Harburg county
/ Lower Saxony).
Its ratio is 3:5. It's a vertically divided red-white-red flag superimposed
by the coat of arms.
The ratio of the colours is 3:5:3.
Description of coat of arms: In a red shield is a silver (=white) flax
breaker, that's a tool which was used in the production of linen.
Source: I spotted this flag on 29 March 2007. The information about
the coat of arms was taken from "Samtgemeinde Hanstedt Bürgerinformationen
2007/2008" p.26.
*A "Samtgemeinde", also called "collective municipality"
is a combination of several municipalities to an administrative community
in Lower Saxony.
