Adopted: 8 March 1994. Ratio: 1:1. Palamuse is a rural municipality (vald) in Jõgevamaa County (maakond).

Palamuse vald - Red is the color of Saint Bartholomew for who is dedicated local church. Name Palamuse comes also from Bartholomew. Bell refers to the church and to the school. Clover leaves come from the coat of arms of Jõgevamaa.
