Miró designed the logo of La Caixa, a Catalan bank now with international branches.
Ivan Sache, 15 November 2001
As I work for 'la Caixa' (Barcelona's Savings Bank), I have seen the company flag very often, specially at Barcelona's headquarters (Avenida Diagonal) and Madrid's largest branch (Paseo de la Castellana with Miguel Angel Street), where it is always flying. The logo was designed by Joan Miró for la Caixa in 1980, and the flag is white, 2:3 in proportions, with the logo in the centre.
