Description

On May 1977 the three diputaciones (provincial governments) adopted a provisional flag that was very similar to Andalan magazine finalist no. 2 and which was the first official flag of Aragon.

The current flag was adopted by the democratically elected (1979) Diputación General de Aragón, and was ratified and regulated by Law of 2nd April 1984.
