Description

In the Cádiz Mountains there is a very pretty little town callled Jimena de la Frontera. The name (frontera meaning frontier) has its origin in the fact that here was the frontier between Muslims and Christians at a certain time in the Middle Ages. The flag is green, white and yellow in horizontal stripes.

José Luis Cepero, 21 October 2001
