Description

Black flag with a yellow cross as wide as half the flag's height, charged with a black cross as wide as 1/6 of the flag's height, the whole charged with a yellow square as wide as 2/3 of the flag's height, bearing a black castle with yellow gate and windows, as high as half the flag's height.

The flag is almost a banner of the arms (blazoned Or, a castle Sable gate and windows of the first, a bordure compony Or and Sable). The castle is that of Vidreres and the bordure is a reminder of the jurisdiction of the Cabrera family, lords of Vidreres. Flag adopted 22nd January 1993. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
