Description

Light blue with a white saltire throughout, its arms as wide as 1/6 of the flag's length, with a red eight-pointed star on its centre. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Azure on a saltire Argent a mullet of eight points Gules, shown in the city website). The saltire is that of St Andrew, the municipality's patron saint, and the star is a traditional municipal emblem of unknown origin. Flag adopted 3rd September 1993.
