Description

The former Postal Ensign was a national flag with the coat-of-arms replaced by two large letters 'C' and 'M' —for Correos Marítimos, literally "maritime mail"— in blue in the yellow stripe.

The special ensign for Postal Ships, called Correos Marítimos was the national flag, with blue letters 'C' and 'M' 1/4 the height high and 1/6 the height wide, separated by a distance of 1/6 the height, in the center of the ensign.
