Moimay is a village located a few kilometers west of Villersexel, in the east of the department of Haute-Saône. Villersexel (1,588 inhabitants) is famous for the battle that took place there on 8 January 1871, during which Bourbaki's Eastern Army defeated the Prussian invaders.
