Flag of Goëllo-Penthièvre

The flag of Goëllo-Penthièvre was created by Divy Kervella.

The griffin represents the town of Saint-Brieuc (capital city) and symbolizes the union of Montfort and Penthièvre, former ducal families of Brittany. The blue triangle at hoist represents the shape of bay of Saint-Brieuc.The ermine spot recalls the traditional province of Brittany.

The flag has been approved by the Breton Vexillological Society.
