Overview

Three flags are displayed in the chapel of the St. Stephen (Szent Istvan) basilica. One of those is a rectangular banner of proportion 1:2, horizontally divided yellow and blue, charged in the middle with Coat of Arms. I am not so sure of the charge, since it was rather dark.

Ivan have seen the flag of Belváros-Lipótváros (Budapest V. district). The district uses the modified CoA of the former City of Pest (1703-1873). This CoA was located at <www.budapest.hu>.
István Molnár, 19 October 2000

The flag is based on the Resolution No. 3/1994. (II.03.) B-L. Ö of the Community of Belváros-Lipótváros.
