One of the few commercial flags worth noting was the former
flag of Egged, Israel's biggest public transportation company,
which was a diagonally divided (bottom hoist to upper fly) purple
over yellow with the company logo on the lower fly. This company
recently adopted new colors and a new flag which is a simple
white logo on a green field.

A white stylized Alef (first letter in the Hebrew alphabet and
also the company's initial) on green can be seen hoisted over
Haifa central bus station. Egged Public Transportation Co-op is
the biggest bus company in Israel. I took some photographs.
Company logo can be seen at <www.egged.co.il>.
