Overview

Regional Council Al-Batuf - New Regional Council in the North District in parts of the former Regional Council Lev-ha'Galil. It Govern 4 settlements (all have Local Committees) - all of them Beduin villages. The "city hall" is in Nazereth-Ilit.

This new Regional Council was established in 2001. It includes four Bedouin settlements: Uzeir, Romana, Hamam and Rumat Heib, all situated in the area of Bet-Netofa Valley (which Al-Batuf is its name in Arabic), NW of Nazareth. Pop. 6,000.
