Description

Local Council Dabburiya is situated in Jezraeel Vally on the foot of Mount Tavor, 10 km east to Nazareth. A local council since 1961, 6,500 inh., all Arabs. The unofficial municipal flag is white with emblem, however Mr. Muhammed Darwish, city clerk, sent me a desk flag with two thin red stripes. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP 3822, 6 December 1990. The central element in the emblem is Mount Tavor.
