Description

Local Council Qiryat Ye'arim is situated in Jerusalem Mounts west to Abu Ghosh. It was established in 1975 for Telez Hasidic ultra-orthodox Jews from USA and previously named Qiryat Telez-Stone (Stone for the philanthropic Irving Stone who donate the money for its establishment). Local Council from 1992.
Beside the small emblem at <www.healthycities.co.il>, I have no information about its symbols (apart from the fact that in one of its municipal gardens one can find the flags of all US states...)
