Originally it was a plain red flag, but later the crest of the Bibby family was added.

White with vertical dark blue stripes along the hoist and the fly. In the center a dark blue disc interrupted by white wavy lines in a pattern beyond by description capabilities...

Difficult to describe indeed, but I have seen that logo used by other companies’ as a symbol. I can’t remember where, though.
