See also:The state of Bhavnagar was the major port of Kathiawar, on the east coast of
that peninsula, and had the Red Ensign with on the place of the disk the arms
(of 1877) of the Maharajah, of dark red, with a golden eagle, and as arms
holders two leopards. On top with golden ornaments an Arab galley. The State
banner (and standard of the prince) had the complete arms in gold in the center
on a flag with two colors: dark red over white.
