Elementi costitutivi e segni distintivi
4. I segni distintivi del Comune sono:
- lo Stemma, che . d'azzurro a tre spighe di frumento con quattro fogliette ciascuno, il tutto d'oro, nascenti da tre monti allineati in fascia, sorgenti dalla punta, concesso con decreto del Capo del Governo del 14.4.1937 e regolarmente trascritto nei registri della Consulta Araldica in data 15.4.1937;
- il Gonfalone, costituito da un drappo giallo riccamente ornato di ricami d'argento, con stemma comunale e l'iscrizione in argento "COMUNE DI MONTESCAGLIOSO", concesso con decreto del Presidente della Repubblica del 21.12.1974."
