Overview

Piacenza is in Piacenza province, Emilia Romagna.
Dov Gutterman, 25 November 2004

Piacenza has been the first roman empire colony and, for what I know, there is a variation with the female wolf with Romolo and Remo (the two Roma's founders) taking milk from her. Then the black wolf is on the white side and a white square is centered in the red part of the flag as in the Coat of Arms.
