Drappo di rosso, riccamente ornato di ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma del comune, con l'iscrizione centrata in argento: «Comune di Monteriggioni» (Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica in data 14 gennaio 1970. La descrizione presente nel decreto è relativa al solo gonfalone). Lo stemma del comune di Monteriggioni è di facile interpretazione, perché, il simbolo ne rappresenta la storia. Il castello e le torri si riallacciano, infatti, alla funzione militare che Monteriggioni svolse nel lungo periodo delle lotte fra fiorentini e senesi."
