Republic of Cospaia

According to Roberto Breschi presantation titled: "The Small Italian States Which Lasted Beyond 1700" at ICV 19 (York,2001), the Republic of Cospaia used the traditional flag - horizontal with four Venice-like teeth, divided diagonaly from low hoist to top fly (without accounting the teeth). The upper (hoist side) part is black and the lower part and teeth are white.
