(in Japanse) The emblem features the katakana of Kamagaya
(&12459;マガヤ) clockwise starting from the top right,
stylised and forming the general shape of a circle with arrows point out
to the left (from the top) and right (from the bottom). According to
kamagaya.chiba.jp, the
circle expresses peace and the arrows depict development/growth. The
emblem was chosen from a public competition.
