Higashimurayama city adopted its emblem on 1 April 1964 by Notice No. 34
flag proportion: 2:3
colour of field: dark purplish blue
colour of emblem: white diameter of emblem: 3/5 flag height, a stylized katakana Hi ヒ and Mu ム
in shape of a pigeon.

The emblem consists of the initial katakana hi ヒ and mu ム of
Higashi-murayama, stylised in the shape of a dove. It expresses
peace/harmony of the citizens and the city rushing ahead.
