White coat-of-arms on dull blue field.

Stylized Kanji character SHIN 新 in a diamond shape which has been long believed a symbol of steadiness. The coat-of-arms represents Shinjuku's will to steadily develop for the future.

Coat of arms adopted 15 March 1967.
